Dr. Sammy Davis has been a part of the WWHN Family for the
past 17 years. He has been the Pastor of the Original Holy Ark
Baptist Church - 5336 S. Morgan in Chicago, Illinois for the past
30 years. Pastor D as he is affectionately called is a Gospel
music lover to his heart, and one of God's profound scholars of
the Bible.
Pastor D has been married to Janice Davis for the past 37
years. He is the Father of two Michael (Rochelle) Davis, and
LaKeisha Davis all of Chicago and grandfather to one very
lovely and precious grand daughter Miss Leilaini.
When Pastor D is not intriguing his audience with the melodious
sounds of The Five Blind Boys, Lee Williams and the Spiritual
Q.C.'s, Doc McKenzie, Swannee Quintet, The Christland Singers,
The Burtis Sisters, just to name a few; he is in revival across the
United States. Pastor D has travelled the globe ministering the
Gospel of Jesus Christ. The ministry of evangelism of which God
has richly blessed him with has afforded doors to be opened in
California, Virgina, Mississippi, Texas, Florida, & St. Louis.
He is still one of the few pastors in the country that still hold
five night revivals, during the summer months.
If there is one thing Pastor D loves besides preaching the
gospel, that is the gift of being a spiritual father in the ministry
to so many men and women who preach and teach the Word of
God.

Tornelia Ann Morgan Hawkins, the second child of Edwina & the
late Nathan Morgan was born in Vallejo CA. Nathan and
Edwina were married 7 years before any children were born.
Tornelia, the youngest suffered some physical problems and
with much prayer and supplication was healed by the hand of
God and has attained good health and great spiritual growth
because she gave her life to Christ. A true church baby.
Tornelia's Formal education was from the California State
University at Sacramento for the degree of Bachelor of Science
in Biological Sciences with a minor in Music.
She is married to Mr. Raymond E. Hawkins, formerly Vice
President and General Manager of KDIA 1310 AM radio station
of Oakland CA. The Hawkins relocated to Chicago IL and
purchased WWHN 1510 AM in November 1988. Mrs. Hawkins is
presently the President and General Manager of said radio
station.
Tornelia and Raymond have three daughters, LaTonya
(Lorenzo) Mitchell, Betty (Charles) Smith, and Ramona Brow and
6 grandchildren, Matthew II (14), Lorenzo Jr. (13), Jazzmin (12),
Leonard (11), Lauren (8), and Charles II (6).
